Prize Distribution for Second Year Students for Academic Year 2024-25
The felicitation ceremony began with a warm introduction and welcome of the dignitaries, followed by the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony. The atmosphere was further enriched with a soulful prayer performance by the students of FYBCA and SYBCA. The event then proceeded with an introduction of the guests and a welcome speech by Prin. Dr. Mukesh Goyani. The esteemed guests were honored through a felicitation ceremony conducted by Jivan Jyot Trust and the Principal, after which Mr. Bharatbhai Shah, President of Jivan Jyot Trust, addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech.
The highlight of the program was the Prize Distribution which took place in several stages. In the first session, the Appreciation Awards were presented to faculty members for their exceptional dedication and contributions. This was followed by student prize distributions recognizing toppers across different courses. The top three students of SYBBA, SYBCOM (English & Gujarati Medium), SYBCOM (Data Science), SYBCA (Web, Android, Winter-Web) along with subject toppers were felicitated. Continuing the celebration of academic excellence, the Top 4 to 10 rankers of the same courses and subject toppers were awarded in the subsequent round.
Further, the Top 10 students of FYBSC (Data Science), FYBCOM (English & Gujarati Medium), and FYBCA (based on HSC results) received appreciation awards. Along with academics, the event also acknowledged achievements in co-curricular domains with the distribution of awards to students excelling in sports.
The audience was deeply inspired by the words of Chief Guest Shri Dhirajlal Kotadiya, Chairman of Sahjanand Medical Technology, who shared his valuable insights on perseverance, innovation, and the role of youth in shaping the future. Equally motivating was the address by the Guest of Honor, Dr. K. N. Chavda, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of VNSGU, who emphasized the importance of holistic education, research, and ethical values in student life.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Bharat Basrani, B.Com Coordinator, followed by the collective rendition of the National Anthem, leaving behind an atmosphere of pride, inspiration, and celebration of excellence.
